The Deputy Commissioner of the Kambar Shahdadkot district, Imdad Ali Abro, mentioned that as per a judicial directive, the Sindh provincial administration officially declared an end to the restriction on hiring staff at Grades 1 through 4 throughout the province. After receiving endorsement from the Sindh Cabinet, the Services Department sent out official communications to all Deputy Commissioners and officials within pertinent governmental bodies. Consequently, the recruitment procedure has commenced upon principles of cleanliness, transparency, fairness, and solely according to merit. He noted that every appointment notice is exclusively provided once all legal prerequisites, policies, and guidelines have been met. These remarks were shared during a specific interview with journalists. Deputy Commissioner Imdad Ali Abro elaborated that, as part of the administrative policy, the term of selection panels set up via ads for the period 2021–22 has now been prolonged till June 30, 2026. Relevant organizations have received instructions to release prior delayed appointments adhering strictly to legislative norms. He emphasized that the Services Department has compelled all personnel involved in staffing procedures to completely observe all protocols, laws, and required standards before issuing offers again, ensuring openness and legality in the entire process. The Deputy Commissioner pointed out that certain individuals attempting to undermine fair selections for personal gains are making misleading claims aimed at generating negativity. These groups have been informed clearly that the current employment system operates entirely on ability, aligned with definitive choices taken by appointed review boards along with adherence to proper legislation. All forms of undue political influence would never be tolerated. Furthermore, the Deputy Commissioner firmly denied rumors circulating online, asserting that particular troublemakers have circulated fabricated, untrue, and invented lists of selected applicants post-interviews on digital platforms; these do not correspond to actual records maintained by the District Recruitment Committee (DRC).
He added that purchase orders for selected individuals were already finalized in 2023, and this issue is currently being reviewed by the High Court. The rumors about modifications to the list of approved applicants are entirely false, which he firmly rejects.
Expanding further, the Deputy Commissioner provided information about 851 candidates who were submitted on November 27, 2025. Before the present Deputy Commissioner took over, the previous Deputy Commissioner along with the Selection Committee had granted offers based on merit to these 851 individuals. All quotas were taken into account as per legal requirements. This encompassed the minority quota, the disability quota, and the women’s quota. The whole procedure has been entirely fair, open, and compliant with the law.
