Addis Ababa, December 25, 2025 (ENA) — The Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam represents a significant accomplishment achieved by Ethiopians under the Medemer Principle, as stated by the Head Administrator of the Benishangul-Gumuz Region, Ashadli Hassan.
At a dialogue event held under the theme "GERD for Ethiopia's Revival" in Guba, the location of the dam, the Head Administrator stated that Ethiopians constructed the GERD despite facing various domestic and international obstacles.
