Addis Ababa, December 25, 2025 (ENA) — The State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Hadera Abera, met with Ambassador Abdi Mahmoud Ibe, who serves as Djibouti's representative in Ethiopia.
At the meeting, Ambassador Hadera highlighted the significance of enhancing the long-standing and strategic ties between the two nations, based on common bilateral and regional objectives.
He emphasized Ethiopia's ongoing dedication to promote mutual collaboration across various sectors such as commerce, transportation, supply chain management, electricity, and local development.
Embassy Abdi, meanwhile, emphasized Djibouti's dedication to strengthening diplomatic ties with Ethiopia for the sake of their shared objectives.
Each party emphasized the value of strengthening mutual collaboration in advancing regional stability and safety, and underscored the necessity of holding the forthcoming Joint Ministerial Commission meeting to discuss key matters of shared interest.
