Nigerian A prominent industrialist and CEO of the Eleganza Group of Companies, Razaq Okoya, will organize a week-long complimentary health campaign in Ajah and nearby areas as part of his 86th birthday celebrations.
The initiative, named Okoya @ 86 Medical Outreach, aims to bring advantages to residents as it reflects the businessman's ongoing dedication to improving communities, providing medical care, and offering humanitarian support. This event will take place from Monday, January 5, through Monday, January 12, 2026, each day from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm at Oluwanisola Estate, near Eleganza Bus Stop, located along the Lekki–Ajah Expressway in Lagos.
In reference to the initiative, Okoya characterized it as his individual method of contributing back to the local areas where his businesses operate and where he lives, highlighting the significance of affordable and high-quality medical care. "This marks a move toward our long-term dedication to health, respect, and overall wellness, in gratitude for the community I call home. Above all, health equates to wealth. It’s my gesture of thanks to God for allowing me to live another year. I'll turn 86 in January 2026, an important age, and I remain fit and content," he mentioned.
Okoya mentioned that his ideology continues to be based on the idea that a thriving community is essential for long-term progress. "Offering access to medical care enhances efficiency and emphasizes the importance of social endurance. Everyone should have the chance to succeed and lead a wholesome life," he said.
The initiative aims to assist more than 1,000 local people, providing them with various services including routine check-ups, blood pressure and glucose monitoring, HIV tests, vision exams along with prescription eyewear, dental assessments, cancer detection, advice on well-being, health awareness programs, and access to healthcare referrals. Participants will also be provided with complimentary medicines and an understanding of their general health condition.
