In a sequence of Instagram updates, MC Fish shared the story of how he was courted by the actress, ultimately resulting in their wedding. He aimed to address misunderstandings from followers who thought he remained in the relationship for financial reasons. Rather, MC Fish suggested that he served as a source of support for Joseph throughout various aspects of life.
"I assisted you in establishing a business, supported you throughout the monetization of your social media platforms, and acted as your manager or publicist at times. You didn’t use to move around like an VIP before meeting me; from then on, I started handling security and protocols for you. Yet, I’m labeled as the gold digger," he wrote.
He additionally criticized online bullies who dismiss his role as a hype person, cautioning them not to diminish his efforts.
In response to his messages, Joseph posted on her Instagram story, labeled "Note to My Ex," asking MC Fish to cease involving her in his conflicts.
